Rigid playground sunshades

LIS rigid playground sunshades such as the Buttercup sunshade provide the ultimate in multi-purpose outdoor shade. Whilst shading children (and adults) from the suns harmful rays during break periods the sunshade can also be used as an outdoor classroom. Our Buttercup playground shelter can be installed with or without seating, as illustrated.

Fabric playground sun shade options

Solacryl woven acrylic is very durable, UV stabilised and colourfast. Therefore, it is ideally suited to long periods of outdoor exposure. Solacryl is a practical, waterproof and tactile fabric with a great range or colours.

Sunsure - is a PVC vinyl encapsulated tight polyester mesh material that allows very little light through, but does allow water through-as a mist. Sunsure fabric does not puddle and is probably the most practical fabric for shade sails in the UK.

Our Fabric Sun shades can be fixed to existing buildings, posts that are submerged into the ground or a combination of both. Lock it Safe offers a range of different fixing posts where required.
