Compared with other motor vehicles,
motorcycles are of relatively modest size and weight, but are
often of high monetary value. This makes them particularly
vulnerable to theft – thieves can easily lift them into a van.
Scotland Yard estimates that opportunist theft accounts for
half of all stolen motorcycles
By providing secure
parking facilities, local authorities and other responsible
bodies can drastically reduce motorcycle theft. LIS has
applied the considerable knowledge and expertise acquired on
efficient cycle parking to the problems of motorcycle
security.
All framework is manufactured from heavy-duty hot
dipped galvanised/zinc coated, mild steel to BS EN ISO 1461,
with a further finish of polyester powder coating available in
a variety of standard colours.
In addition to shelters, we also provide Compounds,
Stands, Lockable Compounds, Security Systems and Motorcycle
Signage.
